Kendell,

The 0.42 earnings estimate by Hanifen, Imhoff is an old estimate, and not a new estimate as we were believing. Hanifen's had CWEI earning $1.37 for the year, months ago, even before the third quarter earnings had come out, and Hanifen's estimate for the third quarter was 0.36 vs. 0.45 actual. So if the "old estimate" was $1.37 for the year, why would a new estimate only be 0.42, bringing the year up 0.01 to $1.38. Just adding in the extra 0.09 from the third quarter would, at the very least, bring Hanifen's new estimate to at least $1.46 for the year. In light of the fact that oil and gas have only increased in price, it would not surprise me to see a new Hanifen's estimate in early December at $1.50 for the year, and 0.54 for the quarter. I wonder if they are the $1.53 that both Zack's and First Call have now????
