GREAT NECK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 11, 1998-- In a research report issued on
June 10, 1998, Janney Montgomery Scott Inc. reiterated its ''buy'' recommendation on Gilman +
Ciocia Inc. (NASDAQ:GTAX - news).

The firms banking and financial institutions analyst, William Sutherland, stated in his updated report,
''We believe Gilman + Ciocia has a very strong growth model, driven by its ability to leverage its
tax preparation customer base into financial planning, a growth model that is likely to be accelerated
by acquisition. We consider the stock very attractive at current levels and reiterate our 12-month
price target of $27.''
