I use subsurface gas/water injection pumps which allows you to use the same wellbore for production and injection. They work pretty good. Actually, there are so many different types of lifting equipment available, you have to match the well with the equipment. It just all depends on the formations characteristics. Before choosing a method , I look at all aspects of which is the most economical and efficient one to use.
