Fresh'n Lite, Inc. Announces Record Opening and Expansion Plans

LONGVIEW, Texas, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Fresh'n Lite, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: FLTT - news) reported today that the
Company's first Street Talk Cafe restaurant located in Richardson, Texas set new opening sales records for the first 4 weeks of
operation ending June 5, 1998. The Richardson Street Talk Cafe unit opened to the public on May 9, 1998.

Fresh'n Lite, Inc. President and Chief Operating Officer Henry Leonard, commented, ''The initial performance of this unit is
encouraging. We are excited to see the acceptance of our new concept. Return patronage is high indicating the demand for a
healthy casual concept is largely a function of availability.''

Street Talk Cafe in Richardson is a 4,700 square foot, 170-seat restaurant and dining adventure. The design elements of Street
Talk Cafe convey the ''street'' and ''outdoor'' atmosphere associated with the name and utilize distinct concept elements to
provide guests with a superior ''total dining'' experience. Guests walk into the restaurant on brick streets and wait to be seated
in a Trolley Car area complete with authentic benches.

Guests dine in a variety of rooms that reflect the type of shops, stores and surroundings normally associated with a ''street
experience.'' This makes dining at Street Talk Cafe a true event and helps the concept deliver greater value by offering an
interesting and entertaining environment.

The restaurant features an assortment of casual dining menu items for the entire family including pastas, pizzas, salads, signature
sandwiches and delectable desserts. The Street Talk Cafe menu offers selections from all dining segments in low-fat,
low-calorie, yet good tasting versions.

The Company also announced that the Fresh'n Lite Cafe & Grill restaurant located at Frankford and Preston Road in Dallas is
being converted to the Street Talk Cafe concept and should re-open in mid-July, 1998.

In addition, the Company reports that it has signed ''Letters of Intent'' on 4 new projects to be developed in the Dallas/Ft.
Worth metroplex in 1998 and early 1999.

Mr. Leonard further commented, ''We are committed to executing our expansion plans flawlessly while also running the
existing business. We are very pleased with Fresh'n Lite, Inc.'s continued growth and increased profitability. Our results in the
first quarter demonstrate we are receiving the benefits of the Strategic Business Plan we implemented during the latter part of
1997. Our successful launch of the Street Talk Cafe concept is an essential component in our overall business strategy.
Combined with the divestiture of our East Texas restaurants and our recent funding activities, our goal of becoming the industry
leaders in the healthy casual dining niche is taking shape in 1998.''

Fresh'n Lite, Inc. is the developer and operator of the Fresh'n Lite Cafe & Grill and Street Talk Cafe concepts, full service
casual dining concepts featuring over 100 choices of low-fat and non-fat items without compromising taste, service, or
atmosphere.
