NEW YORK, June 11 (Reuters) - A tumble Thursday in wireless
communications component maker Sawtek Inc. triggered a
selloff in two other equipment suppliers, Powerwave
Technologies Inc. and Qualcomm Inc. as
investors worry about Asia's impact on profits.
"Since the South Korean crisis began in September to
October last year, these stocks have tended to trade in a
group," said Brian Modoff, wireless communications analyst at
BT Alex. Brown.
