off topic to Cap't Nuts......a Chenango Walleye is indeed a culinary delight.

have taken many a float trip in my old canoe...we used to put in in the Tiafneogia (sp?) River in Green. then we would fish while riding the current downstream through the "Forks" this is where the Tiafneogia and Chenango rivers merge, hence the name Chenango Forks. this is an especially good spot for walleye's in the spring Capt'n. from there we would continue our float south down the Chenango and pull the canoe out of the water when we were at Chenango Valley High School, right there at that par 3 golf course.

the above float takes about 9 hours and is as beautiful as any i've ever been on...the bass and the walleye were always plentiful and i bet still are...small world with this net thing huh?
