Note there. Its not always safe to Assume multiply x3 for RGB24. Many graphics adapter don't impliment RGB24 Packed and use 32 bits per pixel for RGB24 because of framebuffer alignment issues. If you decide to RUN RGB24 check to see if the card your buying supports it in the mode you want to run in...
