Try this

There is a difference between being a vendor of Novell and an investor in NOVL.

You are the former. Anything you have to say about---how Novell treats vendors, what progress Novell vendors are making etc. etc. is useful to know. Anything about the success or failure you have had with Novell products is useful to know. Anything about the competitive environment i nthe server market.

However people who risk their money on Novell are in a different position from you. Reach into your pocket right now and put some money on the table. Entrust it to your relative. Ask him/her to repay it at the end of the month. Then you will get some idea of how investors in Novell feel. Are they going to get that money back at all, will it be with interest, and what does that mean for their financial health having made the good/bad decision to put that money there.

If I were you, until I was in that position, I wouldn't minimize the sobering effect of having your investment capital (perhaps your retirement savings) at risk.

Being in the position of having your business at risk is still quite different a relationship to Novell. Your relationship with Novell makes you want to have Novell succeed even when it isn't or even when you don't know whether it is or isn't. I understand that and would never try to convince you to think differently. However I'm here for information and not a sales pep talk. I'm not here to promote Novell's business because it promotes my business.

If you don't invest in the stock, you really owe it to yourself and to others to speak about those matters concerning Novell which you understand.

=================

Incidentally predicting the stock price isn't what I'm here for. I must admit I hoped NOVL would break through 12 and get up to 13. Now that it hasn't I will probably short the next move up (assuming there is one). But what do you care since you haven't got any money at risk on these moves.

You can play at being a soldier but it isn't the real thing.

That's because I risk my money in NOVL every day.
