The weakness of the yen has put increasing pressure on China to devalue. However, China has great pressure not to devalue, including internal political pressure and external political pressure/pride over being the only Asian country to maintain its currency value.

For the others here, let's be clear, China has not devalued its currency -- not in January, not now.
