AND "They have been using these funds to prop it up for six months now" William, I certainly don't doubt your wrong, but can you or anyone else point me to an article or reference concerning this. I carefully read the article Don posted for us and it was difficult to figure out if the pension funds were already in their equities markets OR may be going in to the equity markets. It's a substantial amount of money and can be used for a long time to keep their market up. But if say, 50% is already in there, then there isn't a lot of room left. That's why it would be very interesting to know the details. Thanks, MikeM(From Florida)
