You know that we differ in trading strategies (I am mainly long and you are mainly short). But it seems to me that professional shorters sticking to trash issues (PNDA, LOCK, CCSI etc) can really bring them huge gains. However, when shorters turn their games to issues ala AOL, YHOO!, DELL, MSFT, or even AMZN, they are basically going to lose their pants, unless you have super luck in timing.
I am doing pretty well with my longs. Maybe next time I will try to short those trash issues when there is a good chance. Looks easy money to me.
BTW, heard that an oriental guy won a monthly trading contest by gaining a whopping 684 fold within a month. It was reported that all the fund managers and street guru are impressed by his trade. Can anyone give me any information as to where I can find those information?
