Cat, Thanks....it is dirty work but someone has to do it. <gg> All that is out now is the following: go2net.newsalert.com I expect that CPQ will spell out the charges tomorrow or soon. The inventory referred to was CPQ's and not DEC's own inventory. I think we have not seen the worst of it yet. Frankly, I will be happy when this is over with so that I can once again have confidence in the numbers that Dataquest and IDC are putting out on the industry. The prognosis for CPQ is not all together good. Where are they going to get the cash to run this Godzilla? $.4.5 B to DEC share holders 1.5 B for restructuring charges 1.0 B for Inventory write downs What other charges will there be?
