Joe, I believe in your method of investing. We just hit into all of this at a bad time. I'd rather own value and wait then own some of these high flyers.

I had money to invest about 2 weeks ago. I looked at those hot stocks and I could not see buying them. There was nothing there, but big gains in stock price, but nothing fundamentally. I couldn't bare to take the risk.

I went our route and bought some more AFLX. Well you know what happened since then. Still I am optimistic. Our time is coming and all of these companies that have been flat lining and down will come to life. Let the irrational market pour money into companies with no fundamentals, unbelievable PE and all the other Ratios we watch.

We are entering the second half of 1998 and many pundits were claiming that tech would start up then. We'll see if they follow a certain timetable shortly. If techs start moving without any positive earnings news then we know we are set. If techs don't have a bounce by the New Year, then I will start to really worry.

The I'll start looking into Catepillar, since we will be going into the stone age:)
