Gersh, I hope the biz was good while you were in it! What do you think of the prices mentioned in that article? 2/3 of PC's in Q4 sub-0's? I think that's high, but it does indicate how severe the price movement has become. And now we have Dell entering the $1000 arena. And Compaq has stated they are going to take on Dell in their Corporate account base. To me that means steeper pricing curves on the high end of the PC biz. A price war? And with the makers losing some of their fear of Wintel due to the DOJ and FTC, I'm beginning to wonder about the size of the 2H recovery for Intel. Scary.
