Have you tried 4.01?

If you haven't you should. Its an excellent browser. better than netscape in MOST respects.

Concerning ms's reckless for updating the OS and other dll's at will. It SUCKS. Unfortunately all their big software does it. Frontpage, Office, Outlook, IE are the big culprits. Its an inherent flaw in their archecture and programming style. This is never an issue on unix. I have never had to re-install a UNIX OS or Os/2 to solve a configuration problem.....

BTW: Spots, I can confirm that when netscape crashes all instances of its windows DO indeed disappear. No interaction with other apps just other instances of itself. IE does not do this. Honestly I think IE may have crashed 2-3 times max in the last 4 months I used it. I find it stable. Needles to say I have Nav 3.04 and 4.05 and IE 3.02 and 4.01 loaded on my network. Mainly I load IE 4.01 and HAV 4.05

Have no idea why installing a new IDE Drive would screw up a SCSI CD.
