(AMAT down in > hours trading) jtechkid: I don't know if AMAT is down or not. But the ASMLF warning indicated it is weakness from Taiwan. Since Taiwan was the last hope for Senior AMAT maybe that's the reason. Or maybe as I think it is when a dominant company like ASMLF says things really suck then people might assume that dominant AMAT will be likewise affected (duh!). Taiwan is hurting right now (relative to Taiwan this hurting is not bad but it does mean that AMAT will have less from Taiwan and that has got to hurt) Shane.
