Stan,

I have just gone through my worthless archives of the SGA Newsletter. I found the one in question and it was dated 6/20/96; One day after the 6/19/96 post on SI. This is the one that was done verbatim to the SI post. As I remeber, this same person was also quoted in another SGA newsletter issue but I can't recall the date and content.

Anyway, SGA stated on their 6/20/96 newsletter that "We thought you may be very interested in the following e-mail which was sent by a ----- -----, a subscriber from Chicago Illinois. The e-mail is as follows:...". And then they go on to quote the e-mail. They did not mention that they knew or trusted that person.

Now, on the 6/6/96 SGA Newsletter, they did write about two other eyewitness accounts at the AFCEA/TechNet show. They said, "The first individual is one who we trust very much...". This is NOT the same person who they quoted on the 6/20/96 newsletter because this same SI poster disagreed with some of what was said on the 6/6/96 newsletter. You will see this on the 6/7/96 post on SI.

You will also notice that SGA provided a name in the 6/20/96 release but not the names of the persons in the fluffed 6/6/96 newsletter; One of which they said to have trusted very much. Because of this, I beleive that the 6/6/96 newsletter is less credible than the 6/20/96 newsletter.

I knew that these SGA Newletters would come in handy for something other than lighting the fireplace.
