TABY, i've alway been a long term bull of the group but i have to put money to work and these stocks were overvalued a month ago . my point is their way oversold and my prediction is i don't know if you will have upcycle but you will have a bounce of 20-30%from these levels by october. thats my point. i go both ways made a lot of money on the short side but its way to negative out there and at minimum you will get a positive trade. when short, one point that i stressed is we are going into the weakest quarter for semi's and their no reason to be aggressive which turn out right as semi's in the sox just broke new lows. now i'm long some semi's other than amat that the value is to compelling. i mean lscc has gone donealmost 50%in the last two months i would say thats a pretty good correction.so yes i was negative on a fundamental, investors behavior, valuations, but with semi's things change very quick now i'm very bullish on most semi's on valuation and behavior and i believe october quarter will better than july quarter mainly on seasonal factors oof back to school and christmas buying of computer related products. thats my point.it might be a suckers rally but i'll go along for the ride.semi's change very fast and if you sit still you could be in trouble.
