Sure, Roger. Next time your son, daughter, niece or nephew needs a bilirubin level, you're gonna say--"Please go ahead and stick a needle into the baby. After all, it's cheaper." Most mothers and fathers would just as soon have their babies stuck with a needle since it's cheaper. Oh, yeah, the AMA has a code to pay for this procedure. It's been covered before.

If your particular insurance company won't cover it, how long do you think it'd be before enough mothers got enough senators and representatives on the trail to get this paid.
