Amen and a strong second on that Syd. LOL...the scenario is always the same. Always starts out harmless, a share count(which is always OK if for no other reason to see the breadth of SI), then it is followed by posts stating that "there's a strong short position ", and the only way to cure it is to "call for certs".

Of course, any resultant price increase is rarely due to MMs covering short positions(which, BTW, they leisurely do at THEIR convenience 99% of the time). No, the price increase is usually due to everyone doing rabid buying in ANTICIPATION of the "short squeeze".

Now, if we could get a Warren Buffet type to just buy up the float, including shares sold by the "true longs" as the price rose, then you might see a short squeeze, even if the short position were miniscule.

So, whose going to place the call to him in Omaha?
