A dose of skepticism is beneficial to your financial health, but don't become completely cynical. (Even Lawrence Kam has sweet spots, if you know where to look.) PX has said before that these 'professional' estimates for hard disk drive unit and revenue growth are highly unreliable. That only makes sense, after seeing how widely the estimates from the hard drive companies themselves can flutuate from quarter to quarter. But to assume that the 'professional' report is being slanted to improve Maxtor's potential IPO seems to be reaching a bit. Best wishes, Larry PS: The tech sector still seems to be a dangerous place to put much money into. Just my opinion, which is, unfortunately, worth very little.
