Good morning Bobby, glad you like the announcement. A couple comments on Howard which I think is worth mentioning. I have been focused on other areas and did not have much time to get him up to speed on our operations, staff, products, market or I.R.
He dug in, interviewed our engineers and marketing people, read the volumes of technical and marketing data available, and in one short week grasped the essence of the business and put together a "Fact Sheet" for a small caps investor conference that we will be exhibiting at Sunday and Monday. He gave me a draft to read, and it was so well prepared and accurate that one would assume he had been on board from day one. He is a quality young man who will represent Unitec with all the dignity and class the Company deserves. I think he will become a solid and valuable member of the team.
Most customers are now requiring Y2K certification and testing of new systems. I think many will be replacing systems that are not compliant, which represents an opportunity for us. It would not be economic to try to design an embedded solution for all the variations of other manufacturer's equipment, however, our Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) has a very powerful protocol emulation capability which allows us to integrate it into other systems quickly and inexpensively. We could replace competitors RTUs which would still allow the Customer to use those Master Terminal Units (MTUs) or host computers that are Y2K compliant. A good idea worth following up, Bobbie. Thank you.
Regards,
