Paul, I should read my own posts!!! That Metawave is base station aerial only. Not competition to Intercell at all. I got confused by the handset output reduction, which of course occurs because the base station aerial is more efficient. So handset range and battery life are improved by the base station aerial, not due to handset efficiency. Now if Intercell can do the same sort of thing with the handset aerial, it will be looking good. Because the base stations will need less output from handsets, yes, the product will REDUCE the microwaves emitted from the phone. Of course, the base stations will be spread further apart since they can receive weaker signals so there will be a new optimum spacing with the Metawave aerial. It must be a real pain trying to optimize number of cell sites with ensuring coverage without shadows and not draining subscriber handsets too fast. Sorry about the mistake Paul. Did they Lince me on Ince? Eric, thanks for the kind words. Sorry, I don't know what you mean by "thread list"??? Maurice.
