This gives the company the opportunity to pursue an application outside of the medical field. Could mean less red tape and a quicker route to revenues and earnings. Companies in this field are tripping over themselves to control or be the leader in the industry. Buyouts are in the billions. Check out Dekalb and Pioneer Highbred to name a couple. The Business Week article mentioned in the release is very interesting.
