bobby,
It is just our viewpoint because we know of a rift between the Treasury( and the IMF) and the Fed on how to handle the Asian situation. We are the big debtor nation trying to tell the Asians what to do, as if are way is the only way.
For six months now , we have been saying that a huge backlash would develop under our "arrogant ways". What if the tide were turned and they demanded we cut our trade deficits. If we are right and they are buying gold, instead of Treasuries to a degree, then the backlash has begun. They are finally saying "no",
Bill
