Gerald-- I wasn't crazy about Marengi's statement in re Q4 earnings, either. But let's look on the bright side (why not? we can't make him unsay it). First, if they were going to miss it stands to reason that they'd have made a preannouncement to take some of the sting out of the numbers when eventually produced, and to give analysts a chance to lower estimates if they so chose. Second, if the outlook isn't so rosy, why decide to announce on an exceptionally slow trading day? It only draws attention, and low volume exaggerates volatility, which in a case like this would be very bad karma for NOVL. I really have no idea what'll happen; just an effort to make a case on the upside. Janice
