Did you see ABCNews "Thursday Night" last night? They had a fascinating one hour tribute to Barbie, as she is about to turn 40! They detailed how Barbie rules the toy world and is getting stronger every day. She even has reduced the so-called feminists to babbling idiots - not that that's so hard. Even Paula Poundstone mocked their inanity. What little girl wants to play with an ugly, fat doll when she has a choice? They even had one poor, sick child who said she hates Barbie because it demeans woman and is a false model. Gee, I wonder who brainwashed that poor kid. How does an 8 year old come to parrot such dogma, such psychobabble? To paraphrase Freud, sometimes a doll is just a doll. No doubt that poor, brainwashed child will be in therapy sooner rather than later. Save society from the militants. In a free society people buy what they like and want. As long as that holds true, Barbie will have legs.
