Hi Glenn,

>>I have been short shares for more than a month. Now resorting to buying puts too.<<

Me too, I thought about reducing my short position when it was around 55 and safe some room to short more if it goes up but it did not happen so I have a 2nd thought, instead, I will just hedge half the amount by buying long at 53 may be. I don't want to waste buying calls for hedging this stocks. I also have accumulated puts but most are expiring in June. The only one is making money is my June 60 which I bought yesterday.

It is not a good idea to buy to cover because when the price starts to drop, it is easier to sell stocks we own than trying to borrow to sell short so don't need to find AMZN to borrow like what James' experience.

Did you get your AMZN shorts from DLJ? I got mind from Discover & Datek. Schwab does not have AMZN to short.

Regards,
Felicia
