Ship one million ZiVA in a Q, and margins would be better than VCD.

UK's DIGITAL TV DAWN ABOUT TO BREAK

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BSkyB is poised to launch its digital services, but only to its most loyal subscribers. The limited launch is the firsts stage of a roll out of digital which is being largely dictated by the availability of settop boxes.
The boxes, which are being subsidised through associated company BIB, will cost about 200 pounds sterling. The first manufacturer to be offering product will be Pace and as the roll out progresses Amstrad, Grundig and Panasonic will also be offering settops.
Later in the summer all subscribers will be offered the chance to convert and in the autumn the offering will be opened up to everyone.
The Financial Times has suggested that BSkyB is aiming to spend 100 million pounds in advertising to promote digital. The autumn launch faces 'competition' from BDB, whose terrestrial digital TV service is also due to launch before Christmas.
