Accompanying is Biotech Holdings' news release regarding May sales of the Company's Personal Care Products Division. Sales have been growing strongly for the past several months.
Biotech is making progress both with regard to DIAB II -- the prescription base in China is growing and discussions with regulatory bodies and potential distributors in several Latin American countries are moving ahead -- and with regard to the Company's non-prescription products, which are manufactured and sold by the Company's Personal Care Products Division.
The Company's sales for the current quarter(Q1/99) ending June 30, 1998, are projected to exceed $1,500,000 and will in this case be more than the sales of the 1998 Fiscal Year, which ended March 31, 1998. The Company projects total sales of over $9,000,000 in the current fiscal year and the Company expects to be profitable.
