Yah, that's some of what I'm thinking. fertility management can sometimes be the least inhumane solution. But human nature is a *****. Take two ways it can go. 1) Implement controls - avert disaster - become stable. The avg Joe remembers the controls and grumbles. 2) let famine take its course, then come in and pick up the pieces. Avg Joe is grateful for the help.
Sometimes our collective bad attitude can get in the way of doing the smart thing.
