Norm, { off topic} The best way to bait a minnow: (for trout) 1. Put the hook carefully through the mouth and out the gill. 2. Pull back hook/line towards the tail. 3. Crossover to the opposite side, and set hook under spine 4. Give a tug to as establish a false arch to the minnows back Cast off,up stream, reel in slowly, while the line comes towards you, continue reeling in, the false arch created during baiting process gives you a spinner as well as the impression of live bait.
