I'm wondering about the net effect of falling Asian currencies. While on one hand it makes it harder for Asian countries to buy semi-equipment, it makes it cheaper for them to sell it. I've been thinking about this in response to the ASMLF announcement. It occurs to me that Nikon and Canon may see relatively better sales at ASMLF because of a falling yen.
I had thought that CYMI would weaken more on the ASMLF news, but I think the implication may be that the balance of DUV sales may shift somewhat toward the Japanese and not impact CYMI as much.
