I don't see why outsourcing should necessarily lead to hirer manufacturing costs. Both Dell and Chrysler are the low cost producer in their highly competitive markets and attribute it to their ability to outsource. Perhaps what Trmb needs is the ability to manage that process and I'd like to suggest that they install some supply chain management software from I2 like Dell did. Secondly, if prices are falling as you say, then why are they increasing capacity? Your comments lead me to the conclusion that trmb is a sell----they're increasing capacity in a market with declining prices.
