Java vs Windows Cheryll, isn't it easier to program in Windows? With 90+% of all desk top computing taking place in Windows, there does not seem to be much to gain by ease of cross-platform translation. Many programs are only written to the dominant platform, making adequate profits. (Examples would be Games and Databases.) Am I missing something? Hal
