ALL: Did _anyone_ no here hear Compaq throw down the gauntlet re: 64bit computing. They came out all big and bold and said "we have a 2 year head start on Intel in 64bit computing and we aren't going to stop!" and also said that Alpha and Dec Unix are the way to go for 64bit computing. I can see it now: DEC + CPQ vs. INTC + HWP. Given what I know about HP from personal experience with their workstation, server, service and software people I'm betting on DEC + CPQ (my bet had nothing to do with INTC). Steve
