Hi Dwight: I agree with Salah's dates and numbers for insider sales. I am not sure I agree with the conclusions and interpretation though. Why would a director sells just before anything he might know that could cause a runup in the price of the stock? Also, I had this service for about six month now and I don't recall them indicate any insider buying during this time. It is true that this particular director has been selling at regular intervals, but his sales, in retrospective, were a good indicator for where NOVL was heading! For once I tend to agree with Jim A last post for the short term outlook and feel that the earnings are going to be flat to slightly below, like the last time. That would explain why, just like it was last quarter, the company issued no pre-earning statement. The latest action in the stock may have been a combiantion of the effect of the tax-wash-rule and the pre-earning release activity. Giving that the following quarter is expected to duplicate this one, I wouldn't be surprised to see the stock back under 10 but January will see it recover and the real recovery may have to wait until Q1-97. I hope I am wrong though that is why I am keeping my position and, along with Joe, I am waiting for 12/31. Ghassan.
