I should go away more often! I left on Thursday a half hour before the market opened for a long trip to frozen North Dakota and made my requisite quote calls along the way-- WOWWW!!! I was sure there was some news release, or at least a repeat of Business Week "Heard on the Street" or something, but now I'm convinced it was either the triumph of... 1) Big Money finally waking up, but I find this unlikely considering everyone "woke up" at the same time! Either we are the geniuses for staying with it and picking up more way down in the 6's and 7's or... 2)We're the dumb money, left out of the loop by a unsubstantiated rumor known only to Big Money. Could be word was leaked out by someone re: KM actual deal and since it's not official YET, just hyped the stock. Irregardless, I hear no one complaining about the new more rational price for this huge winner. 36 days till 97. Go Ampex! PS - I'll let you guys know next time I go away so you can buy accordingly! :-))
