1. You're quoting a press release from a company who has a recent
history of "incompletely researched" claims.

2. Fisher and Spriggs can issue, or can have issued, whatever instructions
they want. Whether these instructions can be followed is a different question.

3. Without specific guidence from an attorney, I would assume that
the extra-US filing dates have mostly expired for the existing patents.

4. Actually performing these filings would cost about $5,000 * 80
= $400,000. Following through to the point of actually GETTING the
patents would cost at least $20,000 * 80 = $1,600,000.

5. Brownell & Roberts will be glad to hear themselves described as
"Washington D.C.'s foremost patent attorneys"

Let's try to stick to the facts.

I'll consider the extra-US patent claims to be well-intentioned but
naive hype until see some backup.

Besides, I think they're irrelevant anyway.
