For those who were comparing MSFT to ORCL:

Oracle is growing gross profit margins at 9 times the rate of MSFT and net profit margins at 168 times the rate of MSFT. MSFT's current cash cows are mature, and they stand to benefit greatly from the successful move into the enterprise. From a margin growth perspective (you must compare the maturity of the two industries) Oracle is currently blowing MSFT out of the water. The same goes for cash flow, earnigns, return on equity and return on investment. Compare the following margin, earnings, cash flow, and return growth rates to MSFT's and then tell me if you would not value MSFT differently from a succesful move into the enterprise arena.
