All companies also get CUSIPs before declaring splits. All companies that trade have cusips. This CUSIP deal I do not understand what you are talking about. Did IOM change their CUSIP when they split? The issue is that NAZ have or may not have rules about retroactive xdates. I haven't seen anything unambiguous on that and don't have time to find out myself right now. exactly. The company sets the SOR date. nasd makes sure all rules have been followed and grants the company's requested SOR date and rules on the XDATE. company SOR date = NASD xdate. get it?
