This is the thing about these BS penny stocks that I never actually understood. They have an almost mystical quality for some people. It is really amazing to me how stupid people can be about the stock market.
Greed, hope, faith, and lack of self confidence.
That is the reason religion (and politicians), have been so successful in conning humanity for all these years.
It is totally incredible that entire nations are moved to do the craziest of things based on the belief of something never factually proven nor indeed that based on rationality could simply NOT happen.
Imagine that I start promoting a company in the penny stock Universe that will promise you eternal life in paradise, whatever the hell that may mean.
And on top of that, if someone asks for proof, I simply tell them to have faith.
What a load of crap story, if I were to do it the SEC, FBI, CIA NASDAQ, KGB, EPA and whatever other alphabet agency would put me behind bars in a hurry.
BB stocks is like playing casino.
I am amazed that most state governments and the Feds are bitching about the immorality of the Internet casinos in the Caribbean, yet they run lotteries themselves (so the conclusion is the real reason is that they do not want competition).
Yet they allow the crap that goes on in the bb stocks.....
I guess the reasoning of the 2,000 example may be a valid one....
Except that it does not make sense not to execute proper research and/or continue to believe in the bullshit that the companies (and their cronies) put out.
Look at these boards, like any other tool, the Internet is allowing the good and the bad, it is up to the individuals to learn how to make good use of it.
Look at dgiv and others.... faith, believe, our time will come ....

Mystical stuff is a powerful aphrodisiac for the human mind, it allows you to dream about what in one's mind seems unachievable.
Expectation of Nirvana, not the here and now, that is to boring or too harsh to accept, but the ideal dream.... and if you have the gift to convince others, and even better a commercial idea, that could have a glimmer of hope to become viable.... bingo you have the perfect bb stock.
And worse than the USA bb stock is the Canadian Exchanges... wow all these mines, drilling projects, etc. etc.
Amazing simply amazing.
