Bob,
Here's another one (simpler, but similar to the other one)...

An Arabian Emir was going home with some gold. He had 10 people riding
10 camels, each camel was loaded with 10 big bars of gold, each bar
weighing 10 pounds. One of his servants approached him and told him
that he got a tip that one of the drivers was going to steal some gold
and that this driver's plan was to shave off 1 pound from each of the
10 bars his respective camel was carrying...

Upon reaching his palace, the Emir took out his weighing scale, and
just using the weighing scale 'once', identified who the thief was !
How did he do it ???
