Jim, Taiwan is betting on alternate chipsets for Slot 1. Intel has already licensed it out once I think.. (or is going to..).. As slot I becomes dominant, Intel will not be able to hold to market itself. VIA and Sis are ready with Slot 1 chipsets.. this is what Taiwan is waiting/banking on. Steve
