Let's talk about Netscape for a minute. Doesn't upgrade JDK version as required by the license agreement - No biggie Doesn't pass compatibility tests - Sun says no problem New, incompatible native API (JRI) - Sun adopts with slight mods (JRI) New, incompatible security API - Sun ignores it New extensions to java.* classes - Sun ignores them New IFC classes - Sun merges into JFC Please don't try to use them as an example of how Sun wants to see things done. Sun has one reason for trying to bludgeon Microsoft in court. They're losing market share and money to Microsoft NT in the marketplace. Thanks, Mike
