MileHigh,

I'm not sure I quite understand your post, but:

1. No price has been established for DRDRAM; I was using your hypothetical example of $100/system for illustration purposes.
2. As processor speeds advance, old DRAM technology will NOT satisfy CPU needs; this is what Rambus is all about.
3. You have my point; nobody needs those MHz's (or GHz's) right now, so nobody is going to pay big bucks for them, and probably, nobody (in quantity) is going to ever pay big bucks for them again.

At a dollar per PC (which may end up being generous), how many PCs will have to be sold for Rambus to reach the lofty earnings goals that everyone is expecting?
