That rumor has been tossed around here some time ago and as i recall it simply wouldn't make sense for VISX to get involved with all of the problems that Summit brings to the table. That rumor may have something to do with the recent VISX's price decline although i doubt it. I think there is still alot of tax-loss selling in this stock. I persnally feel that this stock is a 2-3 bagger in the next 12-18 months. Most every money manager i know has stated that they want to be fully invested before December 1 to take advantage of the January effect. Lets face it the last 400 point in the dow have inly been in the dow stocks. My favorite money manager Loius Navelier expects the rally to broaden out and lift some of the little stocks like VISX to another level.

I have personally acquired over 2000 shares of VISX, so i am putting my money where my mouth is. The last i saw was that there were 1.4 million shares short in this stock. VISX has a float of 12.2 million and average daily volume has dried up to around less than 150k shares per day. If there is a run on this stock and the shorts start covering watch out, since it would take 10 full days of trading just for the shorts to cover.
