Joe, calling in your certs will have no effect, except to possibly to incur charges to longs who do, if their brokerage charges a fee for certification. We here at Short Sellers Inc. have no compunction about short selling while naked. While not a pretty sight, it is nevertheless profitable. It really would make be a more prudent fiscal decision to divest your shares on Monday morning. If you really believe in the potential of FBN Associates, I assure you you will be able to repurchase the same shares and more for a fraction of the cost in a few short weeks.
