Alan,

Please read the last section... latest e-mail from Keith (reprinted with his consent). Sounds much better!!! Now if only the public could read about these things... and the price of silver would go back up <VBG>!!

> << May I suggest that all of those having a vested interest in Clifton send Keith an e-mail: Keith Moeller <clifton@cliftonmining.com> expressing your feelings regarding the lack of public press releases regarding the Company's progress, etc.. The PR firm sending out info to brokerages, magazines, etc. is fine, but (IMHO) we need the investing public to have a steady stream of news from the Company. A higher stock price is to all our advantage... not from a trading point of view, but from an investment aspect. The higher the stock price, the less dilution that will occur in the future. Most of us know the story behind Clifton. The problem, at least as I see it, is that the investing public for the most part doesn't even know Clifton Mining exists... forget addressing its enormous potential. Certainly the price of silver has had some bearing on the stock price, but how many people know that Clifton can produce at a very low relative cost due to the presence of other metals in the ore? How many know that only a small percentage of the property has been thoroughly assayed? And on and on and on. >>

> The original "talk", Keith, was that only about 10% of the Clifton
property had been drilled and assayed... and these were not even the
best potentials even though the results were excellent. What kind of
progress is being made in proving-up the other 90%?

> What is happening with the new acquisition? Very few know the price
paid... even though it only bought a majority interest. There has been talk that stock was issued thereby diluting the stock. I understand the necessity for silence if you are trying to obtain the balance of the other company, but you must realize what goes on in the rumor mill.

investors out there who would jump all over Clifton if more facts were
released. Mining investors post-BreX want hard verified COC numbers and constant news regarding progress. My investment and most certainly yours (to a much greater degree) depend upon the investment world's perception and belief in Clifton Mining. It takes public PR together with PR to brokerages to achieve it. Have they tried interesting Bob Bishop, Doug Casey, etc.... some of the better known and followed mining newsletter writers? Most brokerages are not very excited now about mining companies, but there are many private investors who are... if only they knew Clifton existed.

Marty,
The original property number that was released was 10% of the first eight of 38 veins. We figure that we have so far tested and have had approved about 3-4% of the Shear Zone system potential. We are currently working on 3 more sections of veins, which we hope to have approved by the end of the summer.
The beginning work (geological) has already started on the new Woodman properties and the first set of assays made it to my desk today and I have to say that I am pleased. Work on the Cane Springs Mine starts on Monday. There was NO stock issued in gaining the majority interest in Woodman. The Woodman stock was purchased in cash transactions totaling about $45,000. In the deal we gained the majority interest in a company with $80,000. in the bank, 174 acres of patented mining property and a registered, second supply of water for the mill. More information will be released in the near term. You can also give this info to SI.
