Techie, here's some good advice: learn from Meathead. Maybe you'll draw different conclusions, but Meathead does his homework very carefully and clearly backs his conclusions with data. If you keep an open mind you can learn a lot. I know I have learned much from people on this thread. You may not believe it, but when I first invested in Dell I had serious misgivings about it's staying factor in view of many of the kinds of arguments that bears have brought up (although I was never bearish). For example, I believed that Dell was vulnerable because its model could be easily duplicated. I believed that Dell mad a mistake by avoiding cheap PCs. But people like Meathead and Jim Kelley and JBN3 and Sig and a raft of others made some very persuasive arguments. But it takes the ability to listen and abandon your prejudices. We even had a bear on the thread (Flamethrower by name) who, after thinking about the arguments, changed his mind and became a bull (he even made some good $$$ in the bargain). So what do you have to lose? TTFN, CTC
